This summer’s showcase brings together four original, entirely devised works created and performed by our young people at Trestle School of Drama. From fairy tale chaos to alien documentaries, these performances are a testament to the imagination, collaboration, and talent of our youth theatre community.
Joining us at 4pm? Expect twisted tales and detective adventures with Genre Giants and Dexter and Winter's Detective Agency.
Coming along at 6pm? Humans are Weird bring science fiction to the stage.

Genre Giants
Join us in the secret lair of the genre giants for a magical performance full of twisted tales and squished stories!
If there are fairy tales that they don’t like, the genre giants have the power to change them.
With music, movement, and magic, find out what will happen in this story created by Trestle School of Drama Begin Class.
Dexter and Winter’s Detective Agency

NB: Tickets for these performances are flexibly priced starting at £8. The higher the ticket price you choose, the more funds we'll raise to create bursaries for Trestle School of Drama. These bursaries will expand access to our creative programs and experiences for young people across the district.
As a registered charity without regular funding, every penny raised is crucial for Trestle to continue our work. By selecting a higher priced ticket, you'll make a more substantial contribution. This directly enables us to reach and support more young people in the community, providing transformative creative opportunities that may otherwise be inaccessible.
