About How To Land
How To Land is the third piece in a series of short pieces of theatre on film called 'Nothing On Earth: Shorts' which has been developed thanks to funding through Arts Council England’s Emergency Response Fund and from UH Arts and Dacorum Borough Council this summer.
The films are all written by Anna Reynolds and are inspired by the world of her play ‘Nothing on Earth’ which was due to tour this Autumn before the COVID crisis hit. The films are being produced under the creative leadership of Artistic Director Rosamunde Hutt.
Until recently Jade worked as cabin crew, serving gin and tonics at thirty thousand feet, but times change and now she’s a care home assistant in Hertfordshire. She’s looking after June who is 94 today – and they discover that they both share something in common.
