The Live Music Project: Sat 30 Jan 2016

January’s Live Music Project Gig, takes place on Saturday 30, we are thrilled to be joined by Southbound, 150 Friends Club, Dodo Bones and Nick Stephenson the doors open at 7.30pm and as always this is a FREE event.

Young blues rock band from Cheshunt join us as this month’s headliners. Southbound  have been playing extensively over the last 12 months, earning themselves a solid fan base & lots of attention in the music industry. They recently supported The Blockheads & Aiden Connell and have lots of festivals coming up in the summer. They promise to put on an amazing show for this month’s Project so don’t miss them.

150 Friends Club‘Truly amazing band – the closest thing you can get to Frank Zappa for the modern age.’ After a brilliant solo performance from David Goo at a recent Acoustic Cafe we now are lucky to present the full band!

Here’s the story – when the David Goo Variety Band came to its natural conclusion, David Goo wanted to do something different.

After reading Dunbar’s theory that society works best in groups of 150 people, he concluded an audience of exactly 150 could be pretty sweet too. Smaller numbers, intimate settings, personal rather than alienating. The 150 Friends Club was born.

We also welcome back Dodo Bones  to The Project with their unique blend of ‘wood rock’ & amazing vocals they never fail to entertain and impress.

Nick Stephenson returns to The Project with his solo acoustic set this month. London-based singer/songwriter Nick Stephenson is a solo artist that has played at the likes of Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Secret Garden Party, Glade, Standon Calling, Wilkestock and has supported Toploader, Toyah Willcox, The Staves and Ade Edmondson. He was also a finalist in the National Songwriting Competition 2015.

We hope you will join us, for what is guaranteed to be another amazing night!
