The Live Music Project: Gallery Acoustic Session

The next Live Music Project Gallery Acoustic Session Gig takes place on Friday 18 March, we are delighted to be joined by Elephants & Castles, Starseedz, Li-Li and Hidden Jules, the doors open at 7.30pm and as always this is a FREE event.

Elephants & Castles lived in the St Albans area before relocating to London, this will be a rare local performance for the band. Playing a stripped down acoustic set we are delighted to welcome them to the Project for the first time.

Met near the Elephant, became friends, became a band.
Songs of, for, about,because…
Concrete gems, hot air, medal-less martyrs, knee trembling, tv off, that goal against Liverpool, my dear tattoo, trunks and turrets….

Starseedz make a welcome return to the Project. This upbeat, happy duo will grace us with their beautifully crafted tunes and gorgeous harmonies – Starseedz always give a great performance.

Starseedz are an indie, pop, folk, duo who write very pretty songs and sing them wherever they can. Catrine & Jon met somewhere along the way while playing in various bands around St Albans. They married in a fairy handfasting and continued the magic in their song writing. They have played at many festivals throughout last year and captivate audiences with their haunting melodies and powerful harmonies. They have recently signed with End of the trail management and will be releasing a song and video on end of the trail records early this year. They have also been played on fresh on the net.

Their songs tell tales of love and life and friends and foes, always coming from the heart. Their tunes are full of catchy melodies and harmonies that lift the spirit.

We are delighted to welcome back Li Li to the Project for her EP release. This will be a very special performance showcasing her new EP which will be available on the night. Li-Li is a solo artist who performs unique melodic, jazzy, original songs.

Hidden Jules – An acoustic duo writing songs about life that tell a story. Hidden Jules played for the Project with a full band last year but return this month as an acoustic duo. Currently recording another EP we are sure they will be showcasing some new songs.
