February’s Live Music Project Gig, takes place on Saturday 22, we are thrilled to be joined by The Metatrons, Chameleon Boy, Branded Jacks and Emma McGrath the doors open at 7.30pm and as always this is a FREE event.
Headlining this month is The Metatrons; described as ‘delectable skewed fuzz-pop’ this four piece from Hitchin and St Albans formed in 2009. Citing their musical influences as 80’s noise pop with tunes (Jesus and Mary Chain, Primitives) and the punk/new wave that proceeded it (Blondie, Ramones, The Damned, 999, X-Ray Spex) – all covered with a nice gooey layer of 50’s bubblegum pop with a 60’s Spector-ish glint in its eye. Their stomping rhythms, buzzing guitars, big hooks and hollered vocals are guaranteed to go down a treat with any audience.
We’re delighted to welcome back Chameleon Boy. This very popular band are great supporters of The Live Music Project.

Branded Jacks are a three piece band from St Albans bringing a combination of Mumford and Sons, Lumineers and Bastille influenced music to your ears.
Also playing is 14 year old singer songwriter Emma McGrath. Emma’s ‘earthy and soulful sound’ reaches way beyond her years, having already played at gigs and festivals all over the county, we are sure that she is one performer to watch for the future.
We hope you will join us, for what is guaranteed to be another amazing night!
