Studying at Central Bedfordshire College, Chynna gained a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design and a Foundation Degree, before completing a Fine Art Degree at the University of Bedfordshire in 2013.
Both as an artist and in her personal life, she is hugely inspired by floral design and nature and whilst studying Fine Art immersed herself in design culture, the Pop Art movement and Pre Raphaelite Brotherhood, amongst many others! Chynna’s art is a response to the inspiration found in these interests.
More recent paintings are created using acrylic paint then layered with a variety of embellishments including glitter, crystals and beads. Finally varnishing or using resin to these paintings adds depth and a protective glass-like element.Every product I have made is, from initial sketch until final product, made and produced in Britain. All cushions are printed onto high quality panama fabric using digital printing methods, allowing for a vibrancy which is true to the original design, whilst producing a luxurious quality cushion.
Entry is free and the exhibition is open during our normal Arts Base hours, please click here for more information. For enquiries about the exhibition space at Trestle, please contact our Gallery Programmer Elaine Johnson on firstname.lastname@example.org / 01727 850 950
