Our Productions

Trestle has been making innovative and inspirational physical storytelling theatre since 1981. For 25 years, we worked mainly with full masks. Over the past few years, we have collaborated with UK and international artists to explore what happens when Trestle unmasks and uses voice, text, and dance.

Our productions have toured nationally and internationally, engaging a diverse range of audiences. Trestle’s work has always appealed to students and teachers of mask and physical theatre; however, many shows have been enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

Trestle is now using the experience of our international collaborations to influence the work we do with masks; our workshops and training inspire young people and adults to make choices about working physically with or without masks.
