Friday 18 September, 2pm
May Contain Nuts Theatre Company will be performing a scratch performance of their new piece ‘Little Cuts‘.
Little Cuts presents the issue of self-harm through the framework of a theatre company devising a production to be presented within schools. The characters explore the broad definition of self-harm: from the misuse of alcohol to cutting; from engaging in harmful relationships to placing ourselves in risky situations. Although the piece purposely doesn’t arrive at a conclusion, it does encourage an audience to see that self-harm and how an individual relates to it is both unique, and multi-faceted in its purpose. Following the performance there is a question and answer session with the company as well as a workshop to look further at the issues.
