9th January – 3rd March 2016
Local artist Gail Robins will be displaying a colourful selection of abstract drawings in the Gallery Café to begin our 2016 programme of exhibitions. Her pieces, with their interlaced lines often have the aesthetic of maps or labyrinthine diagrams. They are drawn freehand with archival pens over a loose base of ink and paint on paper.
The obsessive repetition of interweaving lines and circles bind the diverse subject matter together, presenting scenarios where opposing forces are bound together struggling for equilibrium.
Entry is free and the exhibition is open during our normal Arts Base hours, please click here for more information. For enquiries about the exhibition space at Trestle, please contact our Gallery Programmer Elaine Johnson on firstname.lastname@example.org / 01727 850950
