“Mamas with Voices” is a fun and funky female community choir bringing together women from in and around St Albans. Founded in 2016 by local jazz singer/songwriter and choral arranger Anjali Perin to bring together Mums who might crave the togetherness of a choir setting and the well-being and mindfulness that comes from singing.
“MWV” has gone from strength to strength performing at many local St Albans events including the Xmas Lights Switch On and featuring at the Meraki festival main stage back in 2019 as well as getting through the challenges of online sessions during the Covid lockdowns. The Mamas now want to celebrate all that they are and the joy they continue to share through the music they have enjoyed singing over the past years.
We invite you to join us in an afternoon of songs ranging from Billy Joel to Hamilton, Imagine Dragons and Madonna! Led by choir directors Anjali and Tor and featuring some special guests at the wonderful Trestle Arts Base.
