Playing with Fire

Trestle will be offering a practical, and highly physical education workshop to accompany its production of Lola. Playing with Fire will reflect the show’s mix of dance, rhythm, and storytelling drawn from Flamenco traditions.

Participants will learn and experiment with the physical theatre techniques used in the creation of the show, and will explore some of its primary themes - ideas of public and private personas, and the personal cost of celebrity.

The workshop is suitable for students 13+ and will be led by an experienced Trestle practitioner. A maximum of 24 participants is recommended.

Duration: 2-2.5hrs
