Trestle’s extremely popular programme of mask workshops has introduced thousands of students and performers throughout the world to the exciting versatility of mask. The workshops enable participants to prepare for performance in masks and explore how mask training can unlock the door to a versatile and more focused physicality in all performance. Physical Theatre Workshops
Trestle’s new adventures in physical theatre have given rise to an expanding range of workshops. Discover different routes into physical theatre by exploring the techniques Trestle uses in devising our touring shows. These workshops emphasise the importance of play, experimentation and collaborative work.

Trestle is offering a practical and highly physical education workshop to accompany its latest, production, Lola. Playing with Fire will reflect the show’s mix of dance, rhythm, and storytelling drawn from Flamenco traditions. Click here for more information.

INSET Training Workshops

Learn the techniques which continue to characterise Trestle as one of Britain's most innovative theatre companies. Trestle’s workshops for drama teachers and workshop leaders provide an opportunity to develop teaching and leadership skills in physical and mask theatre as well as new tools to help students produce great work.

INSET Training Workshops take place regularly at Trestle Arts Base and cost £100 each or £180 for two workshops (including lunch and refreshments).
