Brilliantly entertaining The Tuesday Club are back headlining this month’s gig with support from Blue Tongued Skinks, Emma McGrath (EP launch), ABI & special guest poet Anna Ghislena.
The Tuesday Club have just released their new EP My Consciousness and will be playing at Trestle on their promo tour, fresh from supporting Toyah at the O2 Academy Islington. Described as ‘Roxy Music meets The Rocky Horror Show’ the band never fail to put on a great show.
Alternative rock band Blue Tongued Skinks are next up. This great young rock band have been gigging in and around St Albans and are currently working on their first album.
Emma McGrath will be returning to The Live Music Project stage to launch her EP at this month’s gig. The young singer songwriter is a favourite at Trestle and she recorded her EP of original songs at Grand Chapel Studios – quite a feat for a 14 year old!
ABI’s unique brand of pop/rock edged soul is as refreshing as it is energetic. Her music is full of lush harmony and coloured with infectious hooks that are both fun and moving in equal measure.
We’re delighted to welcome special guest and performance poet Anna Ghislena who writes poetry and fiction inspired by music and ‘lives for rowdy rocky stuff in small, confined spaces’.
There are just a few copies left of The Live Project: Vol 1. The CD features 12 tracks by some of fabulous bands and artists who have played at Trestle and costs just £6.00. The perfect Christmas gift! It is available to buy from Trestle Arts Base or Denise Parsons email@example.com and you can also purchase it at the monthly gigs.
All proceeds go towards supporting this popular community/volunteer project.
The Live Music Project is run by local music promoter/supporter and community champion, Denise Parsons. If you are interested in volunteering for the event or would like to sign up to perform, please contact Denise at firstname.lastname@example.org
